Ingredients:

  • Drumstick leaves(muringayila) – 4 cup
  • Red cow peas(mampayar/vanpayar) – 1/2 cup
  • Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
  • Shallots – 3
  • Green chilly – 2
  • curry leaves
  • Turmeric powder – a pinch
  • Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
  • Oil

Preparation:

  • soak red cowpeas overnight. Next day boil with little salt and turmeric powder.
  • Crush together coconut,green chilly,shallot,curry leaves and green chilly .
  • Heat oil in a pan. splutter mustard seeds.Add drumstick leaves and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Then add the boiled cowpeas, coconut paste and stir well until dry.

Ingredients:
  1. Drumstick leaves-1 cup
  2. Egg-2
  3. Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  4. Chilly powder-1 1/2 tsp
  5. Pepper powder-1/4 tsp
  6. Tomato(cut into small pieces)-1
  7. Chopped Onion-1 cup
  8. Garlic (chopped)-2 flakes
  9. Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp
  10. Oil-3 tbsp
  11. Salt
  12. Curry leaves
Preparation
  1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
  2. Add chopped onions, drumstick leaves and saute for 4 mins.
  3. Add turmeric powder.chilly powder,pepper powder and stir for 2 mins.
  4. Add tomato pieces ,garlic and cook for some time.
  5. once it is cooked well add Egg ,salt and scramble well..
  6. Garnish with curry leaves

Ingredients
  1. Drumsticks-6
  2. Grated Coconut-1 cup
  3. Onion(chopped)-1 cup
  4. Green Chilly-2
  5. Cumin seeds-1/4 tsp
  6. Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  8. Oil
  9. Salt

Preparation

  1. Cut the drumsticks into two inch pieces and take out the fleshy(white)part using a knife tip or spoon.
  2. Grind coconut,cumin,greenchilly into a coarse paste .
  3. Heat oil in pan, splutter mustard seeds, and add chopped onions,drumstick,turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
  4. Cook for 5 mins without adding water.once it is done Add coconut paste and stir for some more time till it gets dry.
  5. Add coconut oil and mix well..
