Ingredients

  1. Tutti Frutti – 2 tbsp
  2. Butter (room temperature) – 1/4 cup
  3. Castor Sugar(powdered Sugar)- 1/2 cup
  4. Egg –2
  5. Vanilla Essence- 1 tsp
  6. All purpose flour/Maida – 1/2 cup
  7. Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Milk – 3 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
  2. In a bowl,Beat butter and sugar.
  3. Add egg  one by one and mix well.
  4. Add vanilla essence to it.
  5. In  another bowl,Sieve maida and add baking powder to it.
  6. Then add  maida in little quantities  to butter – egg mix and mix well.Finally add milk and tutti frutti( before adding, dust tutti frutti with little flour to avoid settling at the bottom of the cupcake)  to it.
  7. Transfer the batter into baking cups and bake for 20 minutes till done or a toothpick inserted in the center of cupcake comes out clean.
  8. spongy and yummy cupcakes is ready.
  9. you can make 8 cupcakes with the above recipe.

Brownie Butter Cake is my kid’s favorite and this is a yummy treat for chocolate lovers.This is a combo of brownie and butter cake.

Ingredients

For Making Brownie

  1. Dark Chocolate(broken into pieces) – 140 gms
  2. Butter(unsalted) – 1/4 cup
  3. Brown Sugar – 1/4 cup
  4. Egg –1
  5. All purpose flour/Maida – 1/4 cup

For Butter Cake

  1. Butter(unsalted) –1/2 cup
  2. Sugar – 1/2 cup
  3. Eggs – 2
  4. All purpose Flour – 1 cup
  5. Baking powder –1/4 tsp
  6. Fresh Milk – 50 ml/3 1/2 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Grease and line a loaf pan with aluminium foil.Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
  2. To make brownie,melt chocolate and butter on low flame.Remove from fire and leave it to cool.Stir in brown sugar until blended.
  3. Add egg and mix well.Fold in flour,gently to get combined well.
  4. Pour the prepared batter into the baking pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. In the mean time,we can make batter for butter cake.Take a bowl and add butter and sugar and beat well until creamy.Add eggs one at a time while beating.
  6. Fold in sifted flour and baking powder into the mix.Add fresh milk to get a nice batter.
  7. Once brownies are done ,remove from oven and spread the butter cake batter over hot brownie.Butter cake batter will melt instantly.
  8. Before putting into the oven,Just  tap the pan to get evenly spread and smooth on top.
  9. Bake at 320f/160c for 25- 30 minutes.To check the doneness of the cake,insert a toothpick in the Centre and if it comes out clean it is done.
  10. cut into desired pieces and serve.

This is a mix of chocolate and vanilla and looks similar to zebra cake.kids will definitely love this yummy cake.

Zebra Cake (1)

 

Ingredients

For White  Batter

  1. Eggs- 4
  2. Butter – 1 cup
  3. Milk – 1 cup
  4. Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
  5. Flour – 3 cups
  6. baking powder – 2 tsp
  7. salt – 1/4 tsp

For chocolate Batter

  1. Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp
  2. Milk – 1/4 cup
  3. Sugar – 1 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Preheat Oven at 350degree F.Grease  one 9 inch round pan and dust with flour or spray with non stick cooking spray.
  2. Also you need 2 1/4 cup scoops,one for chocolate and one for white  batter.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together dry ingredients flour ,salt,  and baking powder.
  4. In another bowl mix cocoa powder,milk and sugar.
  5. Mix butter with sugar until creamy.Add eggs one at a time until all is well mixed.
  6. Remove two cups of the white batter and mix with chocolate batter.
  7. Start with the chocolate batter.Put one scoop into the center of the pan and let it spread out by itself.Do not touch the batter once in the pan.
  8. Next put a scoop of the white batter in the center,on top of the chocolate batter.continue to alternate the batters,working quickly and letting each s coop of batter spread out evenly on it sown.
  9. it should look like chocolate and white circular rings on top when finished.

  1. Bake for 50 minutes .Let cool for 15  minutes before removing from the pan.
