Chole Masala (Chickpea Curry)

Ingredients:
  1. Chick peas – 100gm
  2. Onion- 2
  3. Green Chilly- 2
  4. Ginger-Garlic Paste- 1tsp
  5. Turmeric Powder – 1tsp
  6. Kashmiri chilly powder- -1tsp
  7. Coriander Powder -1tsp
  8. Chole masala powder- 1tsp
  9. Tomato(chopped) – 2
  10. kasoori Methi powder- 1/2 tsp
  11. Chaat masala- 1 tsp
  12. Coriander leaves-A bunch

Preparation:
  1. Soak chickpeas overnight.pressure cook with little turmeric powder and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai and fry onion,ginger-garlic paste,green chilly till golden brown.
  3. Add 1 tsp chilly,coriander,turmeric,chole masala powder.Saute for 2-3 mins on low flame .
  4. Add chopped tomato and fry for another 2 mins.
  5. Add boiled chick peas, salt .cover and cook for 5 mins.
  6. Add kasoori methi powder and chaat masala to get a good flavor.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves chopped onions and green chilly.
  8. Serve with roti, appam or Batura.
