Paneer Manchurian

Ingredients:

  1. Paneer cubes –  250 gms
  2. Onion –  2
  3. Ginger(chopped) –  1 tbsp
  4. Garlic (chopped) –  1 tbsp
  5. Capsicum (chopped) –  1
  6. Green chilly (chopped) –  2
  7. Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  8. Tomato sauce – 1 1/2 tbsp
  9. Red Chilly sauce –  1 tbsp
  10. Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
  11. Maida(all purpose flour) –  1 tbsp
  12. Corn flour –  3 tbsp
  13. Salt
  14. Ajinomoto (optional) –  1 pinch
  15. Spring onion –  1 tbsp

Preparation:

  1. Make a batter with  corn flour, red chilly powder, maida,salt and water. Marinate paneer cubes  and fry till brown in color.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Saute chopped onions,green chilly, ginger garlic paste and once it changes its color add chopped capsicum to it and stir well.
  3. Add soy sauce,tomato sauce,  chilly sauce to it and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add 2 cups of water, salt, pepper powder to it and boil.
  5. Once it starts boiling add fried paneer cubes to it. cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Mix 1 tbsp corn flour with water and add to the mix.
  7. Once gravy becomes thick, add ajinomoto to it and stir well. Remove from heat.
  8. Garnish with spring onions.
