Ingredients

  1. Tutti Frutti – 2 tbsp
  2. Butter (room temperature) – 1/4 cup
  3. Castor Sugar(powdered Sugar)- 1/2 cup
  4. Egg –2
  5. Vanilla Essence- 1 tsp
  6. All purpose flour/Maida – 1/2 cup
  7. Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Milk – 3 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
  2. In a bowl,Beat butter and sugar.
  3. Add egg  one by one and mix well.
  4. Add vanilla essence to it.
  5. In  another bowl,Sieve maida and add baking powder to it.
  6. Then add  maida in little quantities  to butter – egg mix and mix well.Finally add milk and tutti frutti( before adding, dust tutti frutti with little flour to avoid settling at the bottom of the cupcake)  to it.
  7. Transfer the batter into baking cups and bake for 20 minutes till done or a toothpick inserted in the center of cupcake comes out clean.
  8. spongy and yummy cupcakes is ready.
  9. you can make 8 cupcakes with the above recipe.

I wish all my readers a happy Valentines day.On this special day,I am sharing a simple and yummy recipe of Vanilla hearts.Kids will definitely love these sweet cookies and a must try for your loved ones.

Vanilla Hearts (1)

 

Ingredients

  1. All Purpose Flour/Maida – 2 cups
  2. Butter(cut into small Pieces) – 3 cups/150gms
  3. Caster sugar(superfine) – 1/2 cup
  4. Vanilla Essence(for flavoring) – 1tsp
  5. caster sugar – for dusting

 

Vanilla Hearts (2)

Preparation

  1. Sieve the flour into a large mixing bowl and rub in the butter with your fingers until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
  2. Stir in caster sugar and vanilla flavoring and bring the mixture together with your hands to make a firm dough.
  3. On a lightly floured surface,roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 inch.stamp out 12 hearts with a heart shaped biscuit cutter.
  4. Lightly grease the baking tray.Arrange the hearts on the prepared baking tray(cookie sheet).
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350degree F for 15-20 minutes until the hearts are light golden color.
  6. transfer the vanilla hearts into a wire rack and leave it to cool.
  7. Dust with a little caster sugar before serving.

Brownies are popular in united states and it is a common dessert in the restaurant menu.This is easy to make and I baked this for my sweet little girl who likes to eat chocolate in any form.it is soft in texture and kids will definitely love this yummy brownies.

Ingredients

  1. All Purpose Flour/Maida – 1/2 cup
  2. Baking powder-1 tsp
  3. Cocoa powder(I used Hershey’s natural unsweetened cocoa powder) – 3/4 cup
  4. Butter –200 gm
  5. Egg –3
  6. Sugar – 1 1/2 cup
  7. Vanilla Essence – 1/2 tsp
  8. Salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
  2. Melt butter and keep aside to cool.
  3. In a bowl,mix maida with baking powder,cocoa powder and salt.
  4. In another bowl,beat eggs with sugar.Add sugar little by little till it becomes fluffy.Add butter to it and mix well.
  5. Add the maida mix to it and mix well without lumps.
  6. Grease a 9 inch square baking pan.Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.check for doneness by inserting a tooth pick into the center of the pan.it should come out clean.
  7. Once it is cool,cut into square shapes.
  8. Serve with a scoop of ice-cream as dessert.
