Ingredients
- Paneer - 250 g
- Onion - 1 whole
- Tomato - 1 whole
- Green peas - 1/2 cup
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Ginger - 1 piece
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt
- Oil
- Coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- 1Crumble the paneer if it is not already crumbled and set it aside.
- 2Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add the chopped onion, ginger and garlic; sauté until the onion is golden brown and fragrant.
- 3Reduce the heat to medium and add the chopped tomato; cook until it softens, then stir in the turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder and garam masala.
- 4Add the crumbled paneer, boiled green peas and salt, and stir to combine so the spices coat everything evenly.
- 5Cook, stirring frequently and breaking the paneer into small pieces with a spatula, until the paneer changes color to golden yellow, for about 5 minutes.
- 6Remove the pan from the heat and garnish with coriander leaves.
- 7Optional: serve warm with roti or stuffed into wraps.
