Custard Cake/Eggless Custard Powder Cake

This is an easy and delicious cake made with custard powder



  1. All purpose flour/maida – 1 1/2 cup
  2. Custard powder(vanilla flavored) – 1/2 cup
  3. Milk -1 cup
  4. Granulated Sugar – 1 cup
  5. Baking powder – 1 tsp
  6. Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
  7. Vegetable Oil -1/2 cup
  8. Melted Butter – 2 tbsp
  9. Vanilla extract – 1/2 Tsp




  1. Preheat oven to 350 Degree F./180Degree C
  2. In a bowl,add milk ,vanilla extract and custard powder .Mix well using a whisk.
  3. Sieve maida,powdered sugar,baking powder and baking soda.This is to ensure baking powder and baking soda is spread evenly.
  4. Whisk all the dry ingredients together .
  5. Add oil,butter ,to it.
  6. Gradually add custard mix to it.Mix to get a creamy batter consistency.
  7. Grease the baking pan with butter paper and Pour the batter into it.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for about 35 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool for 20 minutes.
  10. cut into pieces and  serve
