Chole Masala (Chickpea Curry)

Ingredients:
- Chick peas – 100gm
- Onion- 2
- Green Chilly- 2
- Ginger-Garlic Paste- 1tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1tsp
- Kashmiri chilly powder- -1tsp
- Coriander Powder -1tsp
- Chole masala powder- 1tsp
- Tomato(chopped) – 2
- kasoori Methi powder- 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala- 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves-A bunch
Preparation:
- Soak chickpeas overnight.pressure cook with little turmeric powder and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai and fry onion,ginger-garlic paste,green chilly till golden brown.
- Add 1 tsp chilly,coriander,turmeric,chole masala powder.Saute for 2-3 mins on low flame .
- Add chopped tomato and fry for another 2 mins.
- Add boiled chick peas, salt .cover and cook for 5 mins.
- Add kasoori methi powder and chaat masala to get a good flavor.
- Garnish with coriander leaves chopped onions and green chilly.
- Serve with roti, appam or Batura.
