Types of Coconut Chutney
- Coconut – 1 cup
- Chilly(red/green) – 3-4 nos
- Shallots – 2 to 3
- Tamarind – 1 handful
- Coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Grind all ingredients well in a mixer.
Type 2
- Coconut – 1 cup
- Dry Chilly – 3 to 4
- Garlic Clove – 1
- Salt to taste
Grind all ingredients well in a mixer.
Type 3
- Coconut – 1 cup
- Dry chilly – 4 nos
- Shallot – 3 nos
- Corainder Seeds – 1/4 cup
- Tamarind – 1 handful
- Salt to taste
Grind all ingredients well in a mixer.
Type 4
- Coconut – 1 cup
- Pudina Leaves – 1/4 bunch
- Coriander Seeds – 1/4tsp
- Green Chilly – 4
- Tamarind – a handful
- Salt to taste
Grind all ingredients well in a mixer.
Type 5
- Coconut – 1 cup
- Toor daal – 2 tsp
- Moong Daal – 2 tsp
- Urad Daal – 2 tsp
- Dry Red Chilly – 5 to 6 nos
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Pepper- 5 to 6 nos
- Tamarind- A handful
Fry all the ingredients till light brown and then grind well in a mixer.
Type 6
- Coconut – 1 cup
- Dry Red Chilly – 3 nos
- Shallot (Small Onion) – 2 nos
- Salt to taste
- Tomato – 2
- Thick yogurt (Indian curd) – 1/2 cup
Grind first five ingredients well in a mixer. Mix the paste with yogurt and serve with rotis (Indian bread).
