Chakka Kozhukatta/Jackfruit Kozhukatta
Note: Chakka varattiyathu is made by cooking finely cut pieces of edible yellow part of jack fruit with ghee and jaggery.
Ingredients:
- Jackfruit jam(chakka varattiyathu)-1 cup
- Rice flour-1 cup
- Jaggery(crushed) -5
- cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
- Coconut(grated)1/2 cup
Preparation:
- Mix jackfruit,rice flour,cardamon powder and make dough..
- Make small balls and fill the dough with coconut and crushed jaggery .Then steam in a iddli cooker till it is well cooked.
