Chakka Kozhukatta/Jackfruit Kozhukatta

Note: Chakka varattiyathu is made by cooking finely cut pieces of edible yellow part of jack fruit with ghee and jaggery.
  1. Jackfruit jam(chakka varattiyathu)-1 cup
  2. Rice flour-1 cup
  3. Jaggery(crushed) -5
  4. cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
  5. Coconut(grated)1/2 cup


  1. Mix jackfruit,rice flour,cardamon powder and make dough..
  2. Make small balls and fill the dough with coconut and crushed jaggery .Then steam in a iddli cooker till it is well cooked.
