Thakkali Pachadi(Tomato Pachadi)

This is a quick and easy curry to make when you are running out of time to cook.It tastes great with rice.

Tomato Pachadi (3)



  1. Tomato(Ripe) – 4
  2. Curd(not sour)- 2 cup
  3. Grated Coconut –2 cup
  4. Green chilly – 2
  5. Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
  6. Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  7. Dry red chilly – 2
  8. Curry leaves
  9. Salt
  10. Oil –2 tbsp

  1. Grind grated coconut,cumin seeds,green chilly to a fine paste.Mix the paste with curd and keep aside.
  2. Boil tomato pieces with little salt and water.once it is cooked well,add the curd  mix to it and stir.
  3. Once it starts to boil,add curry leaves to it and remove from fire.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds,dry red chilly and add the seasonings to it.
  5. Serve with Rice
