fried sardine curry

Ingredients

  1. Fried Sardine – 5
  2. Onion (chopped) – 2
  3. Tomato (chopped) – 1
  4. Green chilly – 2
  5. Ginger ? garlic paste – 1 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  7. Kashmiri red chilly powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Coriander powder – 1/4 tsp
  9. Curry leaves
  10. Salt
  11. Coconut Oil

Preparation

  1. In a pressure cooker, heat coconut oil and saute ginger garlic apste, green chilly, chopped onions, till light brown .
  2. Add chopped tomatoes , red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and mix well.
  3. Cover and cook for one whistle.
  4. Release pressure to open it and Add fried sardines to it and boil for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour coconut oil on top of the gravy.
  6. Garnish with curry leaves.
  7. Serve with rice or paratha.
