Chilly Soya Chunks/How to make Chilly Soya

Ingredients

  1. Soya chunks – 1 cup
  2. Red chilly powder – 1 tbsp.
  3. Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tbsp.
  4. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  5. Garam masala – 1 tsp
  6. Onion(chopped) – 2
  7. Green chilly –2
  8. Capsicum(cut into cubes, Green and yellow) – 1
  9. Tomato – 2
  10. Tomato sauce- 1 tbsp.
  11. Soy sauce – 1 tbsp.
  12. Corn flour –1 tbsp.
  13. water – 1 cup
  14. Oil
  15. Salt – to taste
  16. Coriander leaves – to garnish

Preparation

  1. Boil 3 cups of water.Add soya chunks to boiled water  and soak it for 10 minutes.squeeze out the extra water from soya and cut into two pieces.
  2. Make a fine paste of onions. Blanch tomato and make a paste.
  3. In a bowl,add red chilly powder,ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,garam masala and little water to make a paste.
  4. Marinate the above paste with soy chunks and keep aside.
  5. Heat oil in  a pan.Add onion paste,green chilly paste and sauté well.
  6. Add tomato paste to it.let it sauté for sometime till oil clears.
  7. Add marinated soya to it. Add yellow and green capsicum,soy sauce,tomato sauce,salt to it and stir well.
  8. Add 1 cup of water mixed with corn flour to it .Mix well and cover and cook for 5 more minutes.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
