Spicy Ottada
This is a unique breakfast recipe with maida and rice flour.
Ingredients:
- Maida – 1/2 cup
- Rice flour – 1/2 cup
- Milk – 1 cup
- Shallots – 12
- Green chilly – 3
- Curry leaves
- Yeast – 1/2 tsp
- Baking powder – a pinch
- Coconut oil – 2 tsp
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Ghee – 2tsp
- Salt – as required
Preparation:
- Boil milk with water and keep aside.
- To make batter, take a vessel and mix maida and rice flour by adding milk slowly without forming lumps.
- Add yeast, baking powder to it and keep covered for 2 hours.
