Chicken Badam Kuruma

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

    1. Chicken – 1/2 kg
    2. Badam – 150gms
    3. Onion(medium,chopped) – 3
    4. Tomato(chopped) -2
    5. Ginger-garlic paste-2tbsp
    6. Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
    7. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
    8. Pepper powder – 3/4 tsp
    9. Cinnamon – 1 piece
    10. Cloves-1
    11. Bay Leaf – 1
    12. Fennel Seeds (perumjeerakam) – 1/2 tsp
    13. Cardamom – 1
    14. Curd – 2 tbsp
    15. Salt
    16. Oil
    17. Coriander leaves

Preparation:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Saute 2 chopped onions and 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste.
  2. Add 2 chopped green chilly, 1 chopped tomatoes and fry. Add 1 tsp red chilly powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder and 1 tsp garam masala. Fry till raw smell goes off.
  3. Add 1/2 kg  chicken (cut into pieces) to it and mix well. Cook till done.
  4. Finally add badam paste to it. Mix well and let it cook for 2 mins.
  5. Remove from fire and garnish with coriander leaves.
