Chicken Badam Kuruma
Ingredients:

- Chicken – 1/2 kg
- Badam – 150gms
- Onion(medium,chopped) – 3
- Tomato(chopped) -2
- Ginger-garlic paste-2tbsp
- Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder – 3/4 tsp
- Cinnamon – 1 piece
- Cloves-1
- Bay Leaf – 1
- Fennel Seeds (perumjeerakam) – 1/2 tsp
- Cardamom – 1
- Curd – 2 tbsp
- Salt
- Oil
- Coriander leaves
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan. Saute 2 chopped onions and 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste.
- Add 2 chopped green chilly, 1 chopped tomatoes and fry. Add 1 tsp red chilly powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder and 1 tsp garam masala. Fry till raw smell goes off.
- Add 1/2 kg chicken (cut into pieces) to it and mix well. Cook till done.
- Finally add badam paste to it. Mix well and let it cook for 2 mins.
- Remove from fire and garnish with coriander leaves.
With badam paste the curry must be rich in taste. Looks good.
