Chicken Curry
Ingredients:
- Chicken – 500 gm
- Coconut,grated – 1/4 cup
- Coriander Seeds – 2 tsp
- .Cinnamon – 2
- .Cloves – 6
- Onion (Big) – 2
- Garlic – 5 Flakes
- Ginger – 1 Inch Piece
- Red Chilly – 6
- Coriander Leaves – A handful
- Onions(chopped) – 2
- Tomatoes(Chopped) – 2
- Ghee (For Frying) – as required
- Salt – To Taste
Preparation:
- Fry the grated coconut till brown in color in a little ghee.
- Grind together fried grated coconut,Coriander seeds, cinnamon, cloves, onions, garlic, ginger, red chillies, coriander leaves to a fine paste.
- Heat 2 tsps ghee in a Kadai and fry onions till brown.
- Then add the chicken pieces, chopped tomatoes, salt and stir on low fire for 10 minutes.
- Add the ground masala with little water.
- Cook the chicken curry until quite dry.
- Garnish with curry leaves
