Chicken Masala

  1. Chicken-1/2 kg
  2. Onion-3
  3. Green Chilly-3
  4. Chilly Powder-2tsp
  5. Coriander powder-2 tsp
  6. Turmeric Powder-1 tsp
  7. Coconut-1
  8. Tomato(Big)-1
  9. Cashewnuts-5
  10. Raisins-5
  11. Garlic-3 flakes
  12. Ginger-1/2 inch piece
  13. Oil
  14. Salt
  15. Coriander leaves
  1.  Heat oil in a pan. Fry ginger-garlic till brown.
  2. Add onion,green chilly to it.once it gets fried well add all the powders and tomato pieces. Grind the above mix into a fine paste in a mixer.
  3. Soak cashew nuts,raisin in water for 5 mins. Grind this into a paste with Grated coconut.
  4. In a Kadai put the entire masala mix and boil with sufficient water.Add the chicken pieces to it and cook well.
  5. Once it is done, add coconut mix and simmer for 10 mins by covering the lid.
  6. Garnish with coriander Leaves.
  7. Serve with Rice or Indian bread (Roti)
